DAY 63: Migraine Day with positive message

I woke up yesterday with a horrible migraine which continued till today. But near noon, I was feeling really bad, and I had to leave the hospital, and lie in bed with curtains closed. It´s night, and my head still aches a little.

I went for a walk to get some fresh air and clear my mind. Found this picture in a shop. Nice message!

I hope tomorrow I feel a litttle better.

DAY 61: Welcome to The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

'Everything will be all right in the end. So if it is not all right, it is not the end!'

Today Maria invited me to the cinema. It was my first time in a British cinema, I guess movie theaters look pretty much the same everywhere (but I got used to small-original-version cinemas in Madrid and this screen seemed really big for eyes today).


We saw The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. We love comedies, and these actors are just great. I must say I love Bill Nighy!, but the entire cast is awesome.
I left the cinema so happy, because the message is never give up, and struggle to overcome your fears. And that, togheter with the colorful and happy locations, the cheery music and the inspiring message made feel strong and happy. Like there´s so many things to do, and places to visit, and second chances waiting there for me somewhere.

Apart from enjoying a great story, I need to go to India in the near future! 

I think I couldn´t stop looking at things if travelled to India, and taking pictures. The buildings are so elegant, colors are so bright, and light seems so pure there. Everything is so intense!

The actual location of the Marigold Hotel is in Rajasthan, a state in the north of India. An Ravla Khempur is the rural palace built in the 17th Century that serves as stage for this hotel (abut an hour from the city of Udaipur).

Now that I know how to get there, I just got to planned my trip!

I don´t know if I want my parents to see this movie, I´m afraid they´ll just look in the web for some place like this hotel  and move to India.

I decided it´s a great idea: a photo safari.
You only have to choose a word. And then, go out and take pictures related with that word.

It can be an adjective, a feeling, a memory...

I asked the wise for advice. Today is my brother´s word.

DAY 60: Toothache

Don´t worry, I´m fine, everything´s under control.

I feel much better now.

But I had to seek attention. That´s why I went to Finchley Road today.

I entered in Habitat and I bought the greatest flashing pins for only 0.75 p!

And then went to Sainsbury´s for a little groceries shopping. I ended up buying some baking supplies (fairy cake cases, pink glimmer sugar and sugar shapes) to decorate my cup-cakes when I went back to Madrid.

I came back walking through a lovely neighbourhood with beatiful houses and streets.

DAY 58: Keats House

Today was raining all day. I hate this weather! How could be cloudless at night but today looks like this?

Again, my plan to go to Richmond has to be postponed.

But Hampstead is great, and always has some place to visit, even on a rainy day.

I went to Keats House.On my way there I had to fight with my umbrella against the wind. Surprisingly there were many people there visiting.

The house is small. But if you like Keats, and take your time in the details you could be there almost for 2 hours.

Keats began to visist  this house (known as Wentworth Place) in 1817, and in December 1818, after the death of his brother, Keats came to lodge in the smaller half of the house with his friend Charles Brown. It was in this house that Keats met and fell in love with Fanny Brawne.

As I entered, I found my favorite thing in the whole house: the engagement ring Keats gave Fanny. She wore all her life, which seems so sweet to me.

In every room you can find his poetry and some letters to read. One of my favorite letters was written to Fanny, and while reading it I almost started to cry, it was so beatiful, and he loved her so much. And his words as he was in pain all the time aching for love are beatiful.

In Keats parlour, you find the room where he worked and wrote. With a Shakespeare´s portrait he hung up on the wall, and a great window to see the garden.

In the basement you can see the kitchen, and even read about the meals they used to have then, and some recipes also.

I think is a very nice place to visit, specially on a rainy Sunday afternoon. And a plus!, your ticket is valid for a year, and you can visit again.

I love this Department store founded in 1875, with its classy wooden floors and ceilings. If you sew, you can find here the flowery patterned textiles and colorful ribbons, little jars full of buttons, neddles in vintage displays, and lovely cases to store all that.
The stationary department also has beatiful things.
