DAY 43: Under the Weather

Today was so sunny when I left home. Beatiful day. But, it´s London. And it always rains...
Well, yesterday, it rained a lot, and I really mean a lot!

I started walking at Holborn, went to Gray´s Inn (where Shakespeare presented some of his plays, and Dickens worked), I liked the gardens, thogh, as being Saturday, they were closed.
Continued despite the rain to Temple, to see the Temple Church, but very dissapointedly was closed. That, and the rain made me angry.

Saw the Royal Courts of Justice, the Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Pub (where Mark Twain and Charles Dickens gathered), and the Twinings store. But then, I gave up. I was soaked, my jeans, my feet, everything.

I reached Somerset House, and waited in the arcade for a while while I searched in the map the nearest Underground Station. The London Fashion Week was being held. It was full of the most fashionable people and models. You can imagine how I looked, to sum up, I looked like some whale had swallowed and spit me in the ocean, and I just would have swam to the shore and appeared in Somerset House.
So I left to take the Underground for the Museum of London and get some refuge for the odious rain.
